Giuseppe Raimondi, the company's first creative director, gave it a long, wave-like profile without ornament, shaped so that the body is supported along its whole length. Its lightness and ease belong to the late 1960s.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eUnder the removable fabric cover is soft polyurethane, light enough to carry across a room. Alvar is 166 cm long, 65 cm deep and 68 cm high. Raimondi's \u003ca href=\"\/products\/mozza-red\"\u003eMozza\u003c\/a\u003e and Tullio Regge's \u003ca href=\"\/products\/detecma-red\"\u003eDetecma\u003c\/a\u003e are made the same way and share its colours.
