Environment and Disposal
1) Batteries and rechargeable batteries
1.1 Some of our products contain batteries or built-in rechargeable batteries. Waste batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. As an end user, you are legally obliged to return them.
1.2 You can return waste batteries to us free of charge. Please contact us beforehand at service@andustrialkonzept.com; we will then give you the return address. This applies to the types of batteries that we carry or have carried as new batteries.
1.3 Batteries are marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol.
If a battery contains more than 0.0005 % mercury, 0.002 % cadmium or 0.004 % lead by mass, the chemical symbol appears below it: Hg (mercury), Cd (cadmium), Pb (lead).
1.4 Lithium batteries and rechargeable batteries can catch fire if damaged or handled improperly. Before returning them, please insulate the + and - contacts, for example with adhesive tape.
2) Electrical and electronic equipment
2.1 Waste electrical and electronic equipment, including luminaires, must not be disposed of with unsorted municipal waste. The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol on the device or its packaging indicates this.
2.2 Owners of waste equipment must collect it separately from unsorted municipal waste and can hand it in free of charge at municipal collection points and recycling centres.
2.3 Before handing it in, remove waste batteries and rechargeable batteries that are not enclosed by the device, as well as lamps (light sources) that can be removed without being destroyed, and dispose of them separately.
2.4 Waste equipment containing lithium batteries can cause fires if damaged. Please do not damage such devices and hand them in separately where possible.
2.5 You are responsible for deleting any personal data stored on the device before disposal.
2.6 We do not take back waste equipment ourselves. Please use a municipal collection point.
3) Packaging
3.1 Orders are dispatched either from our warehouse or directly by the respective brand or manufacturer. We decide on the dispatch route for each order and destination country, taking into account the packaging requirements that apply there.
3.2 Where an order is dispatched directly by a brand or manufacturer, the packaging is provided by the dispatching party, which is responsible for it, including any registration or licensing obligations.
3.3 Transport packaging, outer packaging and pallets from our own shipments can be returned to us free of charge. Please contact us beforehand to arrange the return.
4) Delivery countries
4.1 The countries available at checkout show where an order can be placed. This does not mean that we can deliver every product to every one of these countries.
4.2 Whether and by which route we deliver is assessed for each order, among other things against the requirements for packaging, batteries and electrical equipment that apply in the destination country.
4.3 If we are unable to fulfil an order for the selected destination, the order is cancelled and any amount already paid is refunded in full.
