The Steel Speaker is a special edition of the Transparent Speaker with a housing of steel. It is made by hand by blacksmith Jonas Majors in his workshop on Mörkö, an island south of Stockholm, where he works with traditional forging as well as welding and plasma cutting.
Inside are two 3-inch full-range drivers, a 6.5-inch woofer and a class D amplifier with 140 W in a sealed 10.2-litre cabinet, tuned by digital signal processing; the heavy steel gives the sound a slightly warmer tone. Volume, bass and treble are set on the front. It connects via Bluetooth 5.0 and plays as left, right or stereo speaker with True Wireless. Suitable for rooms of about 70 m².

Care
| Steel | Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and dry immediately. Powder-coated surfaces tolerate a mild detergent; avoid abrasive cleaners. Raw steel can develop a patina and is best kept dry. |
