Wave Tempo sets wave-shaped stripes into a grid of squares, so the pattern seems to move across the floor in a steady rhythm. The rug is hand-tufted at an even pile height of 10 mm from OEKO-TEX certified European wool on a cotton backing.
The collection was developed with Arturel, a studio working between art, design and acoustics. A dense wool surface absorbs sound and reduces reverberation, which makes the rug as useful in open living spaces as it is in hospitality.
