Ashoka is a table lamp designed by Ettore Sottsass in 1981. Painted arms in green, yellow and white spread from a central stem and carry pink cubes, small shades and bare lamps, like a figure with its arms raised. A dark grey block forms the base, and chrome details catch the light.
The lamp is made of painted metal with chrome elements. It uses six LED bulbs, five E14 of 2 W and one G9 of 3 W, included, with a warm 3000 K light. It is 85.5 cm high and 39.5 cm wide. Small differences in finish between pieces are part of Memphis' artisanal production.
