Bel Air is an armchair designed by Peter Shire in 1982. Shire is one of the designers who took part in Memphis in its early years, and the armchair is a large one: 115 cm wide, 110 cm deep and 125 cm high.
It is built in wood and upholstered in wool fabrics, with elements in fibreglass. The upholstery gives the chair its colour and pattern, while the fibreglass parts add a second, smooth surface. Upholstery and finish are made by hand in Italy, and small differences in colour and surface from piece to piece are part of the process.

| Wood | Dust regularly and wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth, then dry. Avoid standing water, strong heat and harsh cleaners. Follow the manufacturer's advice for oiled or lacquered finishes. |
