Euphrates is a vase designed by Ettore Sottsass in 1983 and named after one of the great rivers of Mesopotamia. It is built from stacked white porcelain elements, a yellow sphere and a black band, with small side spouts that give the outline a mechanical look. The vase is 40 cm high.
It is made of white porcelain, hand painted. Because the colouring is done by hand, tone and surface vary slightly from piece to piece, which Memphis counts as part of its artisanal production.
