Carrot is a vase designed by Nathalie Du Pasquier in 1985, part of the group of Memphis ceramics from that year named after vegetables. It has a waisted, hourglass profile in light blue, with a band of yellow and pink spots and a section of black and white stripes around the middle.
The vase is made of hand painted ceramic, with decorative decals sublimated in the kiln. Each piece is finished by hand, so colour and surface vary slightly. Memphis counts colour shading and small irregularities as part of its artisanal production.
