Cauliflower is a fruit bowl designed by Nathalie Du Pasquier in 1985 and, like Onion and Carrot, it is named after a vegetable. It is a low, round bowl, 29 cm across, with a black interior, a white rim and a lower band of yellow and pink spots, and two small black handles at the sides.
The bowl is turned by hand in ceramic and then hand painted, with decorative decals sublimated in the kiln. Colour and pattern therefore differ slightly from piece to piece, which Memphis counts as part of its artisanal production.
