Charleston is a floor lamp designed by Martine Bedin in 1984. A slim white stem rises from a flat blue disc and ends in a small arrangement of a turquoise ring, a white disc and a dark blue pointer, like a signal or a weathervane. The lamp is 207 cm high with a base 40 cm across.
It is made of painted aluminium, and its light is dimmable. It takes one LED R7s bulb of 78 mm and 4 W, included, with a warm 3000 K light. Small differences in paint and surface between pieces are part of Memphis' artisanal production.
