Diva is a mirror designed by Ettore Sottsass in 1984, three years after he brought the Memphis designers together in Milan. In the Memphis way, the frame is treated as a surface for colour and pattern as much as a border for the glass.
The mirror is mounted on a wooden frame covered with decorative laminate and wood veneer, with lacquered elements. It is 71 cm wide and 111 cm high, and only 4 cm deep. Memphis has relied on Italian craftsmen since 1981, so small differences in colour and surface from one piece to the next are part of the process.
