Dorian is a small table mirror by Michele De Lucchi from 1985. It comes from the same starting point as Ionian: a table mirror drawn as a Christmas gift for the magazine Donna, which Memphis then took into its production catalogue.
The mirror is mounted on a hinge and can be turned as needed. In Dorian a circular mirror sits on a square support, a reference to the Doric order, set against the Ionic of its companion. It is made of lacquered wood, 40 cm wide, 15 cm deep and 33 cm high, and finished by hand in Italy.
