Ginza is a cabinet designed by Masanori Umeda in 1982. It shares its name with a district of Tokyo, and Umeda is one of the designers who took part in Memphis in its early years. The cabinet is 150 cm wide, 42 cm deep and 175 cm high.
It is made of lacquered wood covered with decorative laminate, with chromed metal elements. The mix of coloured surface and polished metal is typical of Memphis furniture of the period. Lacquer and laminate are finished by hand in Italy, so colour and surface can differ slightly from piece to piece.
