Hyatt is a small side table designed by Ettore Sottsass in 1984. Sottsass drew two versions that year: one covered in wood veneer for the Memphis catalogue, and one in glossy black lacquer, designed for his own house in Milan and since taken into the Memphis catalogue. The table is 43 cm in diameter and 42 cm high.
The veneer version has chromed metal elements. The black version has a glossy black lacquer on base and top, with chromed metal and burnished brass. The two are offered as Brown and Black. Veneer and lacquer are finished by hand in Italy, and small differences in colour and surface between pieces are part of the process.
