Lodge is a console designed by Martine Bedin in 1982. Bedin was one of the young designers who met at Ettore Sottsass's home in Milan in December 1980, the meeting that led to Memphis. The console is 168 cm wide and 126 cm high, but only 30 cm deep.
It is built in wood covered with decorative laminate and carries chrome elements. The slim depth suits a hallway or the wall behind a sofa. Laminate and chrome are finished by hand in Italy, so small differences in colour and surface from piece to piece are part of the process.
