Parana is a fruit bowl designed by Masanori Umeda in 1983. The shallow bowl is shaped as a triangle with serrated edges in pink, yellow and blue, and a white ball sits at each corner. It is 40 cm wide, 37 cm deep and 9 cm high.
It is made of shaped, hand painted ceramic. Because the painting is done by hand, colour and edge vary slightly from piece to piece. Memphis counts colour shading and small irregularities as part of its artisanal production.
