Squash is a small ceramic bowl designed by Maria Sanchez, first made in 1985 for Memphis Milano. Versions from 2018 add decorative decals to the hand painted surface.
The bowl is painted by hand and measures 15 × 15 cm at a height of 9 cm. On the Gold, Violet and Light Blue versions the decals are fixed in the kiln; Blue and Yellow are the other colours offered. Colour is applied by hand in Italian workshops, so tone and surface vary slightly from piece to piece, which Memphis counts as part of artisanal production.
