The 543 Broadway stool is the low seat in Gaetano Pesce's series for Meritalia, which also includes two chairs and a table. Like them it has a thin metal frame that ends in large spring feet, here carrying a seat of coloured resin. The stool measures 50 × 39 cm and stands 45 cm high.
The resin is injected into a mould where the colours mix by themselves, so every seat has its own pattern. The stool is a limited edition of 99 pieces and comes in blue and green or in yellow and red. As the process is artisanal, form and colour can differ from the images, and the resin may change colour slightly over time.
