Fix is a bench by Achille Castiglioni for Meritalia, made of two parts: a simple frame of painted metal and a seat in the manner of a classic wool mattress. Its look is sober and functional, and it was conceived around freedom of use rather than a fixed role. The bench comes rectangular, 150 × 52 cm, or square, 75 × 75 cm, and stands 47 cm high in both sizes.
The seat cushion is covered in Adele, a cotton fabric from Meritalia's category A. The rectangular bench is offered in silver or yellow, the square one in white, silver or slate. The two sizes weigh 22 and 16 kg.
