La Michetta C02 is a longer composition of the modular sofa that Gaetano Pesce designed for Meritalia. It combines a seat of 214 cm, a back of 144 cm and an arm of 73 cm and measures 255 × 125 cm. As in the whole series, the elements are separate pieces joined by metal hooks, so they can be rearranged later. The name comes from the michetta, the bread roll of Milan.
The upholstery is Linda, a cotton velvet from Meritalia's category B. The buttoned surface rises and dips irregularly across the modules, which have a wooden structure. C02 is offered with seat, back and arm in three different shades, or with the whole sofa in a single colour.
