The Palma armchair is the single seat of the system by Francesco Meda for Meritalia, made to be placed next to the Palma sofa. Meritalia asked Meda for a seating system with a faintly bourgeois, elegant air that would still carry the company's avant-garde spirit. The armchair is 111 cm wide, 111 cm deep and 90 cm high.
Its shell is leather (Altea) and the loose cushions of seat and back are Fabiola chenille (category B), with contrast stitching along the borders. The cushions sit freely, which gives the firm shape a softer, less formal look. Four combinations of fabric, leather and stitching are offered.
