Nubola is a sofa by Gaetano Pesce for Meritalia with a rigid seat and a soft back made of irregular, cloud-like volumes of expanded polyurethane. The back is quilted in an asymmetric, unpredictable pattern and dotted with buttons. The seat and the back can be upholstered in different colours, which Meritalia likens to light and shadow in a sky. The sofa is 120 cm deep and 90 cm high, in two lengths: 277 cm for three seats and 238 cm for two.
The structure is wood and steel, supported by elastic belts. The cover shown here is Linda, a cotton velvet from category B, offered as navy with night, or in red, cream, blush or hazelnut. Meritalia also lists the sofa in Altea leather, which is not part of this offer. Nubola also exists as an armchair.
