Crease is a sofa by Faye Toogood for Meritalia, part of a collection that also has an armchair and a side table. Toogood took origami as her point of reference, and the folded, pronounced outline shows it: the volumes are generous, yet the shapes stay simple. The sofa is offered in two lengths, 240 cm for three seats and 170 cm for two, both 105 cm deep and 75 cm high.
The cover is Tessa, a wool fabric (80% wool, 20% polyamide) from Meritalia's category B. Each sofa is made in two colours, combined in the pairs listed, for example cream with red, taupe with silver or burgundy with mint. Eight pairs are available in both lengths.
