Scoop is a modular seating system by Philippe Malouin for Meritalia. Its modules interlock, so they can be assembled into a very large number of configurations. The upholstery is a warm, velvety felt, cut and sewn with raw edges. That treatment sharpens the geometric outlines, while the pieces themselves remain soft and comfortable to sit in.
Three compositions are offered, all 83 cm high. C01 is one seat with two armrests (105 × 95 cm), C02 adds a footrest (105 × 170 cm) and C03 has three seats with two armrests (235 × 95 cm). Metal hooks join the modules. The felt is Flavia (90% wool, 10% polyester, category A), offered in purple, cream or brown depending on the composition.
