Snake is a coffee table by Carlo Contin for Meritalia. It is made of round tops that are linked to each other and can be bent into changing arrangements, so the table never has to settle into one permanent composition. The tops come in three diameters, 30, 40 and 50 cm, and the whole piece stands 30 cm high.
The materials are aluminium and steel. The eight-top version has surfaces at five different heights, and the tops carry different colours, while a second version is made of mirror-polished steel, which reflects the light and the movement around it. Snake is offered with five or eight tops, in multicolour, in yellow or in polished steel.
